Job Description
BeautyLabs (www.beautylabs.com) are looking for a talented & enthusiastic Digital Marketing Manager. Partnering with our team in an agile environment you’ll run effective Facebook & Google Ads, supported by Search (SEO & SEM) to build the brand and help new customers discover how we’re revolutionizing ecommerce in beauty and wellness.
The perfect candidate will enjoy working in a fast-moving environment. They will be highly experienced creating and optimizing Facebook & Google Ads, have a track record with SEO and SEM, and be results oriented caring deeply about campaign efficacy with an almost obsessive attention to detail, insights and optimisation.
This role would also suit an agency applicant looking for a permanent position.
The Role
- Execute & scale effective lead generation campaigns across Paid Ads (PPC), supported by Search (SEO & SEM).
- Create, manage and optimize Paid Ad campaigns on key digital advert platforms: Facebook & Google Ads.
- Collaborate on effective advert design, content and targeting.
- Define landing page variants that support ads with strong affinity to boost campaign results.
- Seek opportunities to experiment with new variations, using A/B testing optimisation strategies to iteratively find the most effective ads and landing pages to maximize conversions.
- Use existing and bespoke event tracking of key customer milestones for nuanced analysis and campaign optimization.
- Balance campaign budgets to test new ads & cohorts whilst maximizing ROI for cost-efficient scale on proven combinations.
- Share results, insights and recommendations with the team and collaborate for continual improvement.
Requirements
- You have a strong understanding of paid marketing platforms: Facebook/Meta, YouTube, Google Adwords.
- You have hands-on experience setting up ads, tags, tracking, monitoring, and optimizing them.
- You have a passion for effective marketing – delivering the right message to the right person at the best cost
- You have hands-on experience with SEO & SEM.
- You are empathic and think about how others may perceive and act based on what they see.
- You are organized and have good Project Management skills.
- You are analytical and consider the small details that matter.
- You communicate and express ideas clearly and succinctly with both technical and non-technical roles.
- You are pragmatic and have the confidence to make actionable suggestions and recommendations.
- You are proactive and can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Optional, but even better if you have…
- Experience with running paid marketing on TikTok.
- A portfolio of example projects or campaigns you can show or talk about.
- Experience of any front-end web languages (such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
This role supports remote working, but also offers an office in Cambridge for those that prefer to be hybrid or fully office based with other members of the team.

Responsibilities
- Lead product and development teams to predictably deliver products and services
- Partner closely with business leaders to define product strategy, roadmaps, and deliverables

About you
- You are experienced in both D2C and B2B software product development

- Work closely with decision makers to advocate and promote a data driven culture.
- Develop BI Dashboards and Ad-Hoc reports across the full range of our Beauty & Wellness Applications.
- Support end-users in the use of data, enabling self-service analytics through education and the hand-over of established reports.
- Uncover insights in our data, reporting on user behaviour to drive product improvements that engage our customers.
Required Skills
- Demonstrable experience with SQL, Excel/Power Pivot, Data Visualisation and BI Tools (e.g. Redash, Power BI, Tableau)
- Able to discuss and establish reporting requirements with senior decision makers.
- Able to interrogate complex datasets to surface KPIs, produce ad-hoc reports and develop interactive dashboards.
